1956 classic GM bus conversion in Ashland, Oregon For Sale

This used to be a public transit bus (model TDH-xxxx). This model is known as the "Rosa Parks bus" because it is the model she made her famous stand on. Approx. 40' long. Most of the original seats are gone except the driver seat and two front bench seats that are parallel with the side walls of the bus. Still has gleaming chrome hand rails running front-to-back along the ceiling. Bamboo floor all the way to the King-size bed frame in back (mattress not incl). This baby is ready to roll! It has a new fuel pump and a rebuilt starter. It has a 4-71 series Detroit diesel engine and a two-speed hydrolic transmission, the brakes work great, the tires are ok. Two folding doors, a large loading door on the driver side mid-way back, plus the back door. Windows can be opened for ventilation. Great for a live-in or a classic restoration.
