Neima is a Courtesy Listing for Lake Tahoe Wolfdog Rescue. Neima is the 6-year-old grey-and-white spayed sister to Zerk. She is about 76 lbs, a large dog but not as big as Zerk. Neima is also very shy with men and will cower if a man tries to pet her. We feel she has had some abuse in her background (came from the same hoarder/breeder as Aphrodite). Neima has not had much human interaction but she will take treats from your hand and is learning to walk on a leash so much better than when she first arrived. She did very well getting bathed and is enjoying her nice bed with fleece blanket. She also did well when we drew blood for blood panel, she's quite submissive. Neima likes to dig a den so Dig Guard around your escape-proof yard is recommended so she can have her dens. Neima loves to go on hikes and an experienced handler is just what she needs. Neima is a real sweetheart, especially with a woman she trusts. She will need good daily exercise which will help keep her calm and secure. She is very bonded with her brother Zerk and we would like to adopt them together if possible but not mandatory. Transportation help available.
